"Until there are none"
~Imagine being part of a family, then taken for a long ride and
dumped on the side of the road. A long dirt road surrounded by
water and marshes. No houses in sight. You are alone and scared.

~Imagine being born outdoors to a feral mother with no shelter
from the raging storm

~Imagine being Leukemia positive. You are all alone and dying.

~Imagine having holes eaten in your flesh by biting flies which
become infected.

~Imagine never knowing a full belly or clean  fur.

~Imagine living in complete terror of everyone and everything

~Imagine never knowing the tender touch of a human hand, the
kindness in a voice or the generosity of a healthy meal. You are so
hungry and so scared.

~Imagine eating tainted bait or poison simply because you are so
hungry you need the hunger pains to stop. You die all alone in a
field. No one knowing you ever lived....
The beach can be a
relaxing place for us. A
place of warm sand and
sunnier smiles. Vacation
memories with the ones we
love....

However, if you are one of
the many homeless cats
who live here year round,
your life is anything but
peaceful. Please read on to
learn about the lives of the
Marsh Cats and see how
you can help!
